Kruger National Park - Drakensberg - Kwazulu Natal, self drive
2007 Trip Report
Client: Single traveler from the UK
Interests : Mainly Birding
Dates : November 2007 Duration : 18 days
This self-drive trip was put together for a client who had traveled with us previously, in the Western and Eastern Cape. This time he wanted to bird the northern and eastern parts of South Africa, in Mpumalanga and Kwa-Zulu Natal. The trip started in Kruger National Park and ended with the highlands of Wakkerstroom.

In the client's own words:‘Sadly I am now back from what was a fantastic trip to SA. The Kruger NP was great, Kwazulu Natal a bit damp and the trip up the Sani Pass first class. All in all everything went smoothly and the accommodation/hosts and logistics excellent. Many thanks to you and Patrick for your superb organisation. The hosts at St Lucia were superb (they even washed my car unbeknown to me whilst I was out birdwatching!), as was Steve Piper and his wife. The day up into Lesotho was one of the best of the trip…… once again many thanks for the superb organisation’ Paul Triggs, UK
